Why we do this fair:
Russia is very traditional country with one of the highest rates of marriages. Following the statistics 2 720 000 persons entered into a marriage in Russia in 2010. The average age for marriage is 21-27 years that shows the minimization of de facto marriages. The tradition also means that the wedding is a stately occasion when a wedding dress is indispensible.
Today Moscow numbers more than 900 bridal shops (including 150 up market shops), St. Petersburg numbers 480 bridal shops (including 89 up market shops), other cities like Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Tyumen, Tomsk, Kazan, Samara, Tolyatti, Novosibirsk, Novokuznetsk and Chelyabinsk number together about 1900 bridal shops. Total in Russia there are 2010 cities and towns and 43480 bridal shops.
Thereby, it’s easy to explain the necessity of the professional trade bridal show in the capital of Russia. Every time the WEDDING FASHION MOSCOW fair gathers more then 150 exhibitors (companies that design, make and sell bridal gowns, cocktail and evening dresses, accessories and )shoes and more then 10 000 visitors from Russia and CIS.

Russian retailers show a great growing interest in products coming from the European Union. The mentality of Russia customer is that everything that comes from Europe has always the best quality.
